Information Contributor

We want Town Dancer to be the first completely independent blog on these Islands and as Social Media. That is quite a mouthful and not fully understood by many people. And so to begin with we just need more Information Contributors.

It is just what it implies. People will contribute information of their own kuleana wherever it may be. Their portion of the ballroom is not the same view as my portion of the ballroom on the other side. No hu-hu, just understanding. And we share it with our reader/dancers.

That sharing is what is referred to as Social Media. And everyone is richer for the experience for they get many different view points and not just from the "Big Shots" running the show. And gradually everyone's kuleana will get bigger and we will have more understanding of our fellow dancers. Just email it to any one of our Guest Authors.

Then there is the particular image that a blog portrays and Town Dancer is no different. At the moment it is mainly exhibition and competition type dancing information. Our new Information Contributors will decide if they wish to go that route or if they wish to diversify. You see, it will be all up to "them."

We don't have one per cent of the population as dancers as many countries do. But I envision two per cent for this Island if we can just spread the source of the information around a little more, out in the open. We should get more dancers going for the fun and enjoyment of moving to music. And that should cut down the clique gossip kine which is already being cut down with the blogs we have now.
