"The Lord detests lying pips, but he delights in those who are truthful" (Proverbs 12:22)
Then there is the Night Club action: This can easily exclude the very young for the changes in their dancing are just too rapid to keep up with. But the Clubs that have something close to Ballroom Dancing with an older group would certainly be welcome in the blogs. Specially those clubs that take into account that dancers drink other things besides water and alcohol. Overnight? Nevah happened.

Then the specialty dancers:
The line dancers first, and we would like to add, that the more important ones are those that welcome men to join in the dancing. There is a ratio of approximately 20 to 1 at the present time. Some say even more. Either that or men will have to start line dancing groups of their own. Predominately Haoles and Orientals
The Swing dancers are second; There are two dance groups on Oahu and both have their own websites but no counters. They do not know if they have 1000 readers or three. With news from them (not advertising flyers) we could see an increase in membership of these clubs. Quotes with some opinions would be invaluable and it is something we will seek more of in the future. Predominantly, Haoles and Orientals.

The Salsa, Hip Hop, Bee Bop Dancers are third; Mainly because they are young and in changeable habits. What they will be dancing tomorrow is not what they were dancing yesterday. Some of their fads last decades and some only a few years. Fortunately many in their early thirties are phasing over to ballroom. Mixed group.
The Argentine Tango Dancers; The only thing holding them back is the "Rootzi Tootzi attitude." They dance an "art that is probably the reel teeng," so that makes them unique in the dance world. And you must never mention whorehouse in the same sentence with Tango. Mostly Haoles and Orientals.
And of course the most important one on the Horizon:
The Universal Dancer. Big Latin and Filipino base.
This is not from a thorough, detailed study of the dance or the social structure of these groups. It is simply an opinion based on over 30 years of observation here on Oahu. I have been wrong before. Whatever group they belong to, they could very easily get their point across in these blogs. It is not like they don't have a choice. They have two choices, they can take it or leave it.
Translated from another language: "We don't get mad and
we don't get even. We understand and we accept."
