“The mind is a human’s basic means of survival. The ability to think,
to learn, to discover new and better ways of dealing with reality.”
In the beginning, no one could tune in because the search engines did not know about us. They had to be notified and I found several free submission avenues. They in turn, along with the search engines, send out spiders and crawlers to the new sites. So those were the initial hits. And which it took me almost a year to get my point across that I was not interested in "store bought" hits.
Blogging is relatively new, and I have found no definition for a dancing blog. We are in the process of defining it here in Hawaii for Hawaii. No advertising because this will be Social Media. A way for all dancers to interact with each other with information of their own little world. Some may not want to share and for too many it will remain little.

Then I got on free advertising which is no longer necessary. We do not need those hits very much but it added to the hits we were getting making for an illusion that was not us.
Then the search engines have their algorithms which they change regularly. Some of our blogs have started on the first page. That is hits. In fact some are still there. But with time they have been going over to the second and third pages. That will account for less hits. I believe that the possible deletion of Moanalua Corridor blog will have little effect. And there is always the possibility of reviving it again.
"Young At Heart" by Frank Sinatra
Then there is our best source for good new hits, the Links. We link to each other and it helps all that we can only link with our fellow bloggers which is good. That is a gold mine.
For the seven blogs that I analyze, we have lost about 50 hits per day, but we are on pretty solid ground now for these are from the Hawaiian Dance Community. We will still make adjustments but we are beginning to get help from the important ones, our reader/dancers.
I truly believe we are nowhere near the law of diminishing returns. Time will tell.

people to be shown good things and let themselves get unfolded."
