Quotation, ten years ago:
"For the smooth dancers, this introspection has proven very beneficial (in my opinion), because for the last 3 to 4 years, we have been trying to move it in a different direction which makes it more unique. Thanks to the contributions of the likes of David Hamilton, Olga Foropanova, Toni Redpath, and Nicholas Kasovich (to name a few), American Smooth is much more than just International Standard with occasional open moves. It now has a totally unique look and feel which is anything but Standard.
"American Rhythm, on the other hand, seems to still be moving in a direction closer to its International counterpart. So in a way, I tend to think that it's a few years behind smooth. But then I'm not sure what direction would be a good one for it to go in, since for obvious reasons, it can't do the same thing that Smooth did."
Another:
"The only thing that can save American Rhythm is moving away from International and closer to the original roots."
“The winners in any competitions were for that time, that day
and that place. Nothing in life is guaranteed or permanent
except death and taxes.”
I am going to need some help from some computer guru out there. I have been trying to copy a dvd to my laptop computer so that I can leave the external dvd drive home. The free programs give me a hard time and don't do the job.
I bought an external dvd drive so that I don't wear out the drive on the laptop. The cost for laptop drive, $50 and Labor $50. For most of you that's peanuts but not for me. My external drive set me back $30. And if I can get the dvd on the laptop I won't need an external drive.
Now how do you like them potatoes?

In 2001, President Clinton handed George Bush a projected 10-year budget surplus over $5 trillion. Bush and Cheney turned Clinton's surplus into a $5 trillion deficit through outrageous tax cuts for the rich, and (who were responsible for the financial crash that has now caused the Great Recession) and two ongoing disastrous wars.
