"He who laughs last probably made a back-up."
Just read about the Super Ferry plan for a five day dance run around the islands. Leave Honolulu before noon and head for Lihue, Kauai, evening dinner and dance until midnight. Second day over to the Turtle Bay Hilton on Oahu and dinner and dance until midniight.
A little time for touristing on the way. Third day over to Kahalui, Maui, dinner and dance til midnight. Fourth day over to Kona on the Big Island and dinner and dance til midnight. Finally over to Hilo and diinner and dance til midnight. Some of the tired folk could then fly back to Honolulu. Whatta Dream!
Shot down by the island moneymakers.
Then I have heard from a couple sources of a new dance club in the making. I have no idea of what studio they are talking about. But they must have the fans who are disappointed with the old structures. We have to give the dancers what they want, which may be different than what we think they should have. There is plenty of room at the Palladium and they would only need half.
Let us know and we always try to help the dancers, whoever they are.
"Rainy Night In Georgia" by Brook Benton
The season begins with Halloween and does not end until the famous New Year's Eve Bash.
A portion of Ecclesiastes 3
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven,
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal
a time to tear down and a time to build.
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.
