Town Dancer, Number One

This is the best and most read blog in the Hawaiian Islands. I commend the reader/dancers for this and on the side, the terrific bloggers we are gradually getting in all of these blogs. They don't really know the value of their opinion yet. They just do their own thing and they do well indeed which is very evident in the hit counters on the blogs.

"Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, I may not lead.
Walk beside me and be my friend."

Most of the dancing in Hawaii blends very easily from one portion to the other. The first good and clear division in our dance ohana is between us and the International and the Exhibition dancers. Their dancing is meant to be "seen." And they are well aware of this and have taken great pains to show us that they are different from the rest of us. And I think we should accept. They belong to a different dance scene and it does not have to interfere with ours.

We dance for a far different reason. If the "Internationals" do not know it, it is not our problem. But we have been pressed to drive or impel the informing of anyone to take advantage of one of life's most promising past times. That is what we must cover in the future. And we must find the right terminology for our type of social dancing, that has been a humbug for a few decades. We are no longer ballroom.

But this blog, has been in my experience, very much into the "to be seen" category and therefore this blog should be theirs. The new information contributors will send us the information more easily. This can make the independence a lot more easy. This blog can then be their own mouthpiece.

Pub's Side Note: I give you the best blog on the Islands. And nobody wants it? And it is very strange, that everyone knows Da Rail ain't gonna work. Yet they are all committed to the Big, Big Profits to be made by the few.
