Just got another email information, perfect for passing on the information to the readers in one of the blogs but plainly marked.  "Copyright 2014 All rights reserved." Whoa there. Also just read about a blogger who publish a copyrighted article, giving credit and all. She was still billed or she would be taken to court, so she paid, but she warns everyone.

"Some people have an image to maintain and some of us don't give a damn."

I am also asking all the Two Centers and the Guest Authors to be careful. All of our Blogs claim no credit for any images posted on our sites unless otherwise noted. Images and other information on this blog may be copyrighted by the respected owners. If there is an image or information appearing on this blog that belongs to you and do not wish for it to appear on this site, please E-mail telling the pertinent facts of said image or information and it will be promptly removed. Meanwhile the entire blogosphere is looking good and I look forward to helping as many people as possible to make one of these blogs go independent. On their own and making their own rules. Town Dancer back in the running now in second place behind Platinum Horseshoe. But I deal in averages and I start new every month. Looks like Town Dancer will take over first place then.

Meanwhile I leave Calvin and Richard as Guest Authors in the new blog Dancing Nights. If they want out it can be done easily. No hu hu. However as long as they are in they can use it as they wish. Entirely up to them. And I continue to beat the bushes looking for Two Centers and Guest Authors, they will make a big difference in the hits. I can only go so far by myself. Unfortunately Google is taking over with robot advertising and it is being recorded as hits. They are not hits, they are only interested in selling Chrome which of course makes us certain, never to use Chrome. May have to go back to Internet Explorer or Mozilla, as bad as they are.

Beginning to Roll

Town Dancer blog is still nip and tuck in hits with Blogging Hawaiii for second place but by tomorrow they should be in solid. Platinum Horseshoe still in front but dropping slowly. These three will be the top for the rest of the month.

"If you can DREAM it, you can DO it."

Moanalua Corridor may go into "private blog" if we get more scam spam robot hits. That means that only members have access but it keeps out the scam spam robot hits. It will effectively put it on hold, I don't know, I will play it by ear. It will not be too bad, there is not much action there to report, no Two Centers or Guest Authors either.

Meanwhile, the other blogs are calling, Dance Waianae, Latin Rhythms, the backup blog and Dance Blogs are all over single digit average daily hits. This where we are at the end of October. Anyway, it is good news. With Calvin, Debra and Richard blogging as Guest Authors in Town Dancer and setting the example, it will continue to improve.

"Hey There" by Rosemary Clooney

So the plan is to get as many Two Centers in the different blogs as possible, no limit there. The next step is to wait until some of them are ready to be Guest Authors, They can then have their own mini blog within the larger established blog with ready made organization and readership available.

"The World Is Waiting For The Sunrise" by Les Paul and Mary Ford

The final step for me is to have enough Guest Authors and enough information to get over 100 average hits per day. Then I can gradually withdraw and let them operate as a completely independent blog with only two administrators merely to keep it going. I will have my hands full with the remaining blogs.

Pub's Side Note: I hope everyone that is reading this is having a really good day. And if you are not, just know that in every new minute that passes you have an opportunity to change that.

Town Dancer Will Be Rolling

OK, I am rebuilding what I tore down. Those scam spam robot hits were just too much. So I will keep the spare blog if it happens to one of our tried and true blogs. Once they screw up the stats, it is no use. I want to know the legitimate data not crap.

"Progress is impossible without change, and those that cannot change their minds cannot change anything."

The entire Town action seems to be be gearing up for the holiday season which is only to be expected. Richard is picking up on some of this action already and posted in the back up blog. Calvin and Debra will participate in the Oahu Ball Competitiions on the Big Island and we can all hope he sends back some of his usual great stuff. And run up the hits through the roof.

"Shores Of Haleiwa" by Loyal Garner

On Oahu, most dancers learn steps, in street dancing, social dance clubs, night clubs and official dance studios, it is the same progression. Then they learn more steps, then they learn even more steps. This can go on for quite some time. Then one day, they begin to realize that they’ve got rhythm and don't really need that many steps.

"Tiny Bubbles" by Don Ho

They've learned the rhythm of the different dances and they have learned to dance. They also learn that each dance has over six hundred documented steps or patterns. Of course there are a few teachers will make you listen to the music first, then teach the rhythm and then only after, begin to teach the steps. But that is too much like street dancing. There are social dancers and then there are the "real" dancers that can dance very nicely without music.

Pub's Side Note: Dance Clubs and other Dance Organizations are already coming to terms with the need to integrate their social media efforts with their content strategy, and are seeing the impact of social media in terms of lead generation, referral traffic, and membership.

Back In

The Scam Spam Robot Hits are almost gone. I do not know who did it but it may save all those years that we have had this blog. For now I will have to keep both and see what develops. It will be up to the readership. They are the ones to make the decision. The total hits had been holding pretty steady, too many were puzzled including me.

What Social Dancing Can Do For You!
Five Rules of Dancing: for all students of dance, whether in a night club, class or for private lessons.

Rule One: We are all allowed to be Human.
Rule Two: We are all allowed to make mistakes, including the teacher.
Rule Three: The teacher is allowed to “razz” or to joke and have fun with the students.
Rule Four: The students are allowed to “razz” or to joke the teacher back, which is only fair.
Rule Five: Most importantly, whether in a club, classes or in private lessons we are all raised to the same equal level of just being “students of life and dance” and “Children of God and Creation.”
So, have fun!

It's Not Good

My latest hit analysis shows Town Dancer at an average of 27 hits per day. From over one hundred per day down to this. The top four and overwhelming hitters are all scam spam robots and all ending in RU (stands for Russia.)

I advised the Guest Authors to shift over to another blog but they ignored me. They should do as they please. Meanwhile, I would like anyone to make contact with any of the other blogs. Become a Two Center and perhaps even a Guest Author.

At the top is Platinum Horseshoe in the fifties in average hits per day. Second is Blogging Hawaii in the thirties and third is Moanalua Corridor in the upper twenty hits per day. Those are the top blogs, the others are too new and in the teens but one good Two Center or Guest Author would get them over the thirties hit barrier.

Enjoy the challenge of learning new things and enjoy the stimulation of competition (if that appeals to you.) Learn more about the various dances and forms of dancing and learn where to go to get started dancing. All of our blogs are here to help, to share with our friends, relatives, neighbors and fellow dancers. There are many others that are willing to help in their own way.

I have stripped Town Dancer to the new counter only. The Guest Authors are welcomed to use any of other blogs available whenever they wish. I can have the blog send them the invitation.

Patience and we may get rid of these scam spam robot hits. Somebody is making money from these and I just don't know how they are doing it. But they are screwing up my stats something horrible. And Blogger doesn't have a clue.

Meanwhile, there are three very good blogs forging ahead very nicely. Platinum Horseshoe in front, Blogging Hawaii and Moanlua Corridor not far behind. Mahalo.

Try New Counter

It did not work, cannot get rid of the scam spam robots from the Blogger counter. So I am trying another counter which is supposed to be better. Not perfect but it is free. Hopefully it will not count the scam spam robot hits which Blogger assures me that no one sees, they just goof up my stats so that they are useless. Blogger programmers simply do not understand those things. I am interested is who is reading my blogs but they don't have a clue.

Gone For Now

Checked the stats for the scam spam robots and they were gone. I turned the Private to Public switch and I will wait this out. Perhaps they will stay out. We do not know yet and Blogger does not seem to see the big problem. Patience, we may yet save this blog.

I Try Again

I had planned on keeping the blog private until the tenth. But looking into the stats, the scam spam robot hits had come down considerably, so I reopened the public access to this blog. What do I know? But I took the chance and now everyone can access this blog and I will await the results.

"There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow humans -
true nobility is being superior to your former self."

Then the search engines have their algorithms which they change regularly. But they seem to have less effect on our blogs. The blog links to each other plus links to other dance organizations help and not only for us, but for them too. I have the added advantage of pushing with Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and Facebook. And I have a lot to learn with those.

This blog now firmly in second place behind Town Dancer. That Guest Author will do it.

By myself I am pretty close to the point of diminishing returns, so that the solution remains in the Two Centers and their eventual phase over into Guest Authors. Then when the blog gets over 100 average hits per day, I can resign and they are on their own. I am planning my retirement.

Pub's Side Note: So Rome was not built in a day. I will continue to try to help wherever I can. However, there are those who think I am receiving too much from their "good looks, talent, fame and good fortune." It is their decision and I will respect. Meanwhile, I have to find those I can help and I do not have too much time. I have work to do, I must be on my way and I wish everyone good luck.
