updating

With the good solid news on my blogs my fog of depression is lifting. Disappointments have not been easy but they have been understandable. Depression is a different thing. Of course at the moment I am still dreaming. The figures on my stats are solidifying and I am satisfied that no one in the entire Pacific has access to the results that I have. I have a lot of perfecting to do, our blogs are still pretty raw. We. the blogs. need more feedback - opinions, those we can share with our fellow dancers. We may yet have Social Media on Oahu.

“Social dancers will tell you, do not be frightened friend,
we can dance our way to Heaven.”

So we must go over it again to distinguish advertising, publicity and information. And in the degrees in which we should accept them. Just contribute a little info now & then and a photo or two. (our kind) and I can plan on making the lead blog independent. And I am the most fortunate man on this earth that at one time I lived in that portion of the island that was still Paradise. But have I got high hopes? Even now, you can bet your dancing shoes on that. The people we need are out there, I just have to find them.

Central Valley was at one time, designated the dance center of this Island. The clincher was to be the Dance Pavilion in the Patsy Mink Recreation Park. But it has been cancelled to pay for the Rail Disaster. And it was going to be too big anyway. The District Parks and Community Center would be fine with one third the dance floor of the famous Palladium. The days of the Big Bands and the Big Ballrooms are over in this century. The social dance scene on the island of Oahu is not doing too bad.
